Moulin d’Angles is about 6 km from the nearest beach on the Lake Pareloup, the largest of the Lévézou lakes. The nearest village is Arvieu, where you can find shops (grocery, baker, butcher, florist), restaurants, a post office and most importantly, a market every Wednesday morning. In Salmiech, about 7 km away, one can visit the Cartwheel Museum and there is also a swimming pool, a pharmacy and a medical centre (GP) there.
